AMMAN — Mercy Malaysia, in cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali, donated 3,600 emergency food parcels on Monday to help Palestinians displaced by the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan Zakri Bin Jaafar, Nur Nadiah Binti Hidayat, head of chancery/deputy head of mission, and Samer Balkar, director general of Tkiyet Um Ali, saw off the 10-truck convoy, which headed to the King Hussein Bridge on Monday, according to a Tkiyet Um Ali statement.
The emergency food parcels include dried and canned food that does not require cooking, with each providing a family of five with two daily meals for two weeks.
