Jordanian peacekeepers distribute aid in Abidjan

AMMAN — Jordan’s peacekeeping contingent “Ivory Coast 16” on Monday distributed humanitarian aid to residents of Abidjan.
The assistance included schoolbags, stationery, clothes, toys and copies of the Koran.
Contingent Commander Col. Jalal Abu Al Khail said the Jordanian forces play a humanitarian role as part of the international peacekeeping forces, and contribute to maintaining security and stability.
