New psychiatry unit at UJ Hospital inaugurated

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Muna, Environment Minister Taher Shakhshir opened the new psychiatry and psychotherapy unit at the University of Jordan (UJ) Hospital on Tuesday.
The unit was established in collaboration with the World Health Organisation in Jordan.
UJ President Ekhleif Tarawneh and UJ Hospital Director Ahmad Tamimialso attended the opening ceremony.
The unit offers various medical services to patients who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorders.
