AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel extinguished a fire that erupted at a yard in the southern bus complex in Amman on Monday, spreading to three buses.
CDD cadres administered first aid to a man who suffered smoke inhalation and took him to Al Bashir Hospital, where his condition was reported as fair.
The buses, which operate the Aqaba-Amman and Saudi Arabia-Amman routes, had been parked at the complex for maintenance, the CDD said, adding that the investigation is still ongoing.
