COPA Coca Cola Jordan tournament kicks off Friday

AMMAN — The first international youth football tournament COPA Coca Cola in Jordan kicks off on Friday and continues through May 24, with the participation of more than 640 students representing 64 public schools from around the Kingdom, organiser said Wednesday. The tournament will give the chance for Jordanian football enthusiasts to represent the Kingdom in Coca Cola’s grassroots football tournament FIFA World Cup 2022, which will be held in Qatar. Ezel Agoglu, general manager of Coca Cola Bottling Company in Jordan, told reporters the Jordan tournament is held in partnership with the Education Ministry. Neman Othaibat, an official at the ministry said the tournament will be held at Al Hussein College, Petra Stadium and in Marka.
