ZARQA — The Zarqa Health Department on Sunday halted pumping from Umm Rummana Water Treatment Station for violating health standards.
Laboratory tests conducted on samples taken from the station showed the water “does not comply with microbiological standards and is polluted”.
The pumping will be resumed after rectifying the situation, according to department director, Turky Kharabsheh.
