UK’s International Development Committee visiting Jordan

AMMAN –– The UK’s International Development Committee is visiting Jordan this week as part of their inquiry into the UK’s regional response to the Syrian refugee crisis, the British embassy in Amman announced.

The International Development Committee monitors the policy, administration and spending of the UK’s Department for International Development and its associated public bodies and takes an interest in the policies and procedures of the multilateral agencies and non-government organisations, the embassy statement said.
