Army chief meets British general

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Zaben, who is also His Majesty King Abdullah’s military affairs adviser, met with defence senior adviser for the Middle East at the UK’s defence ministry, Lt. Gen. Tom Beckett, on Wednesday.

Zaben and Beckett discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the armies of the two countries.

Beckett praised the advanced level of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, and the level both countries reached in joint coordination and cooperation.
