Turkish ambassador explores investment opportunities at ASEZA

AMMAN — Chairman of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Nayef Fayez on Thursday discussed with Turkish Ambassador Erdem Ozan potential investment opportunities to enhance economic, commercial, and tourism ties between Jordan and Turkey. During Ozan's visit to ASEZA, Fayez stressed the importance of boosting cooperation, highlighting the authority's unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Fayez also outlined the investment incentives and benefits provided by ASEZA, designed to attract Turkish businesspeople to invest in Aqaba. Fayez also highlighted Aqaba's secure, stable and encouraging investment environment, along with its strategic geographical location and Jordan's free trade agreements. Ozan said that his visit to ASEZA aimed to assess the economic significance of Aqaba and further developing economic relations.
