TRC studying allowing parental control over children’s Internet access

AMMAN — The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) said on Tuesday it is studying measures to enable parents to censor their children’s online access through Internet service providers.
The TRC said in a statement that it is studying the availability and efficiency of those procedures to protect children. After the study, TRC will consider combining the options provided by different suppliers which have various methods in terms of giving parents control of contents their children can consume.
