Transport minister, Sweden’s ambassador discuss transport sector cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Transport Wissam Tahatamoni on Wednesday stressed the need to provide quality and cost-effective public transport services to all segments of the society. During a meeting with the Sweden's Ambassador to Jordan Alexandra Rydmark, Tahatamoni highlighted the ministry's priorities in line with the Economic Modernisation Vision. The discussions also went over the prospects of  cooperation, particularly in road safety and public transport, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The Swedish ambassador highlighted the bilateral relations in various fields, notably in the transport and climate change solutions. She underlined the shared commitment to maintain and strengthen these partnerships.
