Training camp for ninth graders starts July 26

AMMAN — The National Training Programme for male ninth graders will start on July 26 and end on August 26, with 4,000 participants, Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat said Monday at a the programme’s orientation meeting.
The programme aims at increasing awareness of the dangers of extremism and the importance of dialogue and respecting others’ opinions, he said. Moreover, the ministry plans to increase the number of involved students to 30,000 by 2018. The programme involves a military camp in Zarqa.
