Tarawneh briefs Canada-Africa lawmakers on refugee crisis

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Monday stressed the importance of developing relations between the Lower House and the Canada-Africa parliamentary group.
During a meeting with delegates from the parliamentary group, Tarwaneh briefed them on the Kingdom’s reform programmes and urged them to convey the current difficult conditions that Jordan is going through as a result of regional issues and hosting large numbers of Syrian refugees to the Canadian parliament and other legislatures that are members of the group.
