Survey to gauge effectiveness of transport system

AMMAN — Transport Minister Lina Shbeeb on Thursday said the ministry will soon begin a comprehensive survey to assess the effectiveness of the transportation system in Jordan.
At a meeting with owners of taxis, service cars and travel offices, she noted that the study is part of the ministry’s strategic plan to enhance the country’s transport network and develop traffic-related legislation in cooperation with the Interior Ministry and the Public Security Department.
