AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Wednesday approved a grant agreement between the government and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development worth JD20 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The agreement comes as a result of the fund’s decision to allocate a third grant to contribute to the Jordan Response Plan which deals with the Syrian refugee crisis.
The Cabinet also approved a memorandum of understanding with the UK worth JD25 million to help the Education Ministry deal with effects of the refugees’ influx on the education sector.
