Senate president meets with Belgium ambassador

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Belgium’s Ambassador to Jordan Serge Dickschen on Wednesday discussed relations between the two kingdoms and the latest regional developments.
During the meeting, they covered several issues, mainly increasing investments and commercial exchange and building economic partnerships between the two countries in various fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Fayez stressed Jordan's keenness to enhance relations with Belgium and sustain coordination and consultation on issues of mutual interest.
The Senate president also reviewed the latest regional developments and the Kingdom's unaltered stance towards reaching peace and security in the region.
Dickschen praised the Kingdom's role and ongoing efforts to reach solutions to various pending issues in the region and beyond.
The envoy also stressed Brussels' keenness to enhance ties with Amman and activate cooperation among the chambers of industry and commerce in the two countries.
