Bani Mustafa, Belgium ambassador discuss social protection

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa on Sunday met with Belgium’s Ambassador to Jordan Serge Dickschen to discuss bolstering cooperation and building partnerships, especially as part of the Jordan National Social Protection Strategy, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Bani Mustafa stressed the importance of implementing women's empowerment programmes, providing women with decent job opportunities, supporting gender equality, and establishing nurseries, which contributes significantly to women's economic empowerment.

Dickschen commended Jordan’s providing of social services to Jordanians and non-Jordanians residing in the Kingdom, expressing hopes to expand areas of cooperation.
