SCC increases minimum wage to JD271

AMMAN — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Monday announced that it has implemented a decision by the trilateral committee for labour affairs, which increases the minimum wage for 2023 to JD271.
The decision increases the minimum wage for 2023-2025 to a figure corresponding to the inflation rate issued by official agencies for the preceding 11 months of a given year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The SSC said that all those 16 or older are subject to the Social Security Law regarding their nationalities or the duration of their contracts.
