Royal Court chief, House speaker meet German delegation

AMMAN – Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh on Tuesday met a delegation from the Parliamentary Friendship Group for Relations with Arab-Speaking States of the Middle East at the Bundestag, and discussed ways to achieve peace in the region and the latest developments in Syria.
Also on Tuesday, Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh met with the delegates and underlined the need for the world to unify efforts against terrorism.
He noted that the Palestinian issue is deemed a core cause for Jordan, which believes that resolving it is the only way to restore stability and eliminate violence.
The speaker urged Germany to direct its investments to the Kingdom in order create work opportunities for young people.
The delegates voiced their appreciation for Jordan’s role in the region, especially in accommodating a large number of refugees.
