AMMAN — Head of the Jordanian-German friendship Committee Issa Khashashneh on Tuesday highlighted the “strong” Amman-Berlin relations, describing them as “historic and deep-rooted”.
During a meeting with a delegation from the German Bundestag, Khashashneh called for stronger bilateral parliamentary, economic, trade and investment ties, noting that “Jordan is a safe and stable country that acts as a launch pad for investment and business projects in the region”.
He urged the German side to increase the volume of its investments in Jordan and expressed gratitude for Germany’s support to the Kingdom’s education and water sectors.
Members of the guest delegation pointed to their country’s readiness to enhance bilateral relations and expressed appreciation for Jordan’s role in hosting Syrian refugees, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
