Rawabdeh outlines Jordan’s reform process

AMMAN — Senate President Abdur-Ra’uf S. Rawabdeh on Sunday met with a delegation from the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) to discuss the Kingdom’s reform process.
Rawabdeh noted that Jordan believes in gradual reforms culminating in a phase where parties are able to form parliamentary governments.
He highlighted the Senate and the Lower House’s duties in enacting and endorsing laws.
For his part, WFD CEO Anthony Smith commended Jordan’s efforts to develop democracy.
