Queen Rania Teacher Academy celebrates new batch of diploma programme graduates

AMMAN — The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) on Sunday celebrated a new batch of teachers and educational leaders in Jordan who participated in the two vocational diploma programmes in education and the advanced educational leadership diploma for 2022/2023.
A total of 288 teachers, headmasters, assistant headmasters and educational supervisors from various governorates in the Kingdom participated in the programmes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The programmes were implemented with the support of the Canadian government in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the University of Jordan.
QRTA CEO Usamah Obeidat expressed gratitude for all partners and sponsors, the UJ for being a partner in the education process, and the Canadian government for supporting projects aimed at enhancing vocational development programmes for teachers.
Canadian Ambassador Tarik Ali Khan congratulated beneficiaries from the two programmes, expressing his pride in Canada's support for training over 36,000 teachers and educational leaders since 2014.
