PSD chief meets senior British police officials in London

AMMAN — On an official working visit to the UK, Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Monday met with a number of senior British police officials in London, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In the presence of Jordanian Ambassador to the UK Manar Dabbas, Hawatmeh discussed ways to enhance cooperation and strategic partnership between the police forces by exchanging expertise and building technical skills.
During the first day of the visit, he was briefed on security issues in the UK, touring the operations and control room of the London Police, to be acquainted with the technology used in providing emergency services.
Hawatmeh’s visit will last for several days, during which he will meet with a number of police officials and officials from law enforcement institutions in the British government.
