In Karak, nine suspected drug dealers were arrested in possession of various narcotics, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The spokesperson said that one of the "most dangerous" drug dealers in the country was also arrested during a raid in Ramtha, after police identified the date the dealer was set to deliver a "large" quantity of drugs. The suspect was arrested and found in possession of two kilogrammes of crystal meth.

Also in Ramtha, another suspected drug dealer was arrested in possession of seven palm-sized sheets of hashish.

In Zarqa, AND teams arrested two suspects in a sting operation. The suspects had transported "large" quantities of drugs from Mafraq to Zarqa.
