Professional associations organise sit-in in solidarity with Kasasbeh

AMMAN — Professional association members staged a sit-in on Monday in solidarity with Muath Kasasbeh, the Jordanian pilot held captive by the so-called Islamic State group.
Professional Associations Council President Mahmoud Abu Ghneimah underlined the need to deal with Kasasbeh’s case with complete wisdom to ensure his safe return.
Abu Ghneimah also expressed solidarity with the Japanese people during the sit-in, which was covered by a number of Japanese journalists.
MPs and relatives of Kasasbeh took part in the sit-in.
