Princess Rahma leads meeting on improving Amman's green areas

AMMAN — HRH Princess Rahma on Wednesday chaired a coordination meeting of the “Green Amman 2020” project committee at Al Hussein Cultural Centre, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The meeting sought to form sub-committees within the relevant ministries, and identify the tasks proposed to increase the completion rate in the coming years.
Princess Rahma during the meeting, attended by Amman mayor, Yousef Shawarbeh, stressed the goal to His Majesty King Abdullah to preserve the city's green areas to improve the aesthetic landscape of the city, and achieve more cooperation between the public and private sectors to serve the environment.
Princess Rahma pointed to the importance of setting plans and programmes in place to achieve and implement the Royal visions within a clear time frame on the ground.
