Police arrests suspects of fight over harassment of minor in Marqab

AMMAN — The Al Manara police station responded to a report on Saturday of a fight in the Amman's Marqab area between two groups of people, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said on Sunday.

One of the parties claimed that the other had harassed a minor, instigating the fight. PSD personnel immediately headed to the area, arresting all parties involved.

An investigation into the incident has begun, according to the statement. The injured minor, who is currently listed in good condition, was referred to a specialist doctor.

The spokesperson called on the public to refrain from circulating or publishing photos of the minor in order to preserve the child's privacy.
