PM, ministerial team to begin 2-day visit to Doha on Monday

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh is scheduled to begin a two-day official visit to Doha on Monday, during which he will meet with senior officials in Qatar.
Heading a ministerial delegation, Khasawneh will hold discussions with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, focusing on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to boost cooperation to serve the interests of the both countries, according to a Prime Ministry statement on Sunday.
Meetings between Khasanwhe and several Qatari officials and businesspeople over opportunities and areas of investment in the Kingdom in many sectors have also been planned during the premier’s visit.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazzi, Minister of Tourism Makram Qaisi, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Ississ and Minister of Investment Khulood Saqqaf. Khasawneh and the ministers departed for Doha on Sunday night.
