PM meets with IOC president

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh on Thursday received President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach and an accompanying delegation who are visiting the Kingdom as part of a regional tour.
Khasawneh stressed Jordan’s keenness to enhance existing partnership relations with the IOC to support sports projects and programmes in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also referred to the government’s keenness to improve the youth sector and enhance youth participation in various aspects of life.
Bach said that the regional tour aims to further develop relations with IOC member states and support sports and youth projects.
