PM meets British Chief of Defence Staff

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Thursday received British Chief of the Defence Staff General Sir Nick Carter.
During the meeting attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, British Ambassador to Jordan Bridget Brind and British military attaché in Amman, Khasawhneh reiterated Jordan and Britain's deep-rooted partnership and expressed keenness to further cooperation in all fields.
The meeting also covered ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the countries in the military and defence fields, as well as exchange expertise and training between the countries’ armed forces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The officials also went over the latest regional developments and efforts to enhance security and stability.
