PCR tests mandatory for all arrivals to Kingdom

AMMAN — The PCR test is mandatory upon arrival for all arrivals to the Kingdom’s border crossings, with no need for waiting at the airport for PCR test results, Advisor at the Prime Ministry for Health Affairs Adel Balbisi said on Thursday.
Balbisi, in press remarks to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, stressed the need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure.
On the attendance of parties and festivals, the advisor said that fully vaccinated individuals are required to provide proof of a negative coronavirus test taken no more than 48 hours before the event.
He added that Defence Order No. 35, which will be effective as of the beginning of 2022, prohibits the entry of unvaccinated individuals to the ministries, government departments or private sector establishments.
