AMMAN — Director General of the Jordanian Department of Palestinian Affairs Rafiq Kherfan on Thursday reiterated the Kingdom’s support to UNRWA, stressing that the department has offered, since the activation of the Defence Law, a number of facilitations to the agency to underpin the services it provides in the refugee camps.
Kherfan, in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that the facilitations include ensuring curfew passes for a number of UNRWA staff working in essential services.
He added that the department, in cooperation with the Jordan Customs Department, is working to facilitate UNRWA procedures, mainly easing the entry of the agency’s necessary imports, especially medications.
