One dead, 21 injured in two Mafraq collisions

MAFRAQ — One man died and 21 others were injured in two road accidents in Mafraq on Sunday, the Civil Defence Department said.
In the first incident, one man died and eight were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Um Al Jimal.
CDD personnel administered first aid to the injured and took them to hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.
Thirteen people were injured in another collision near Al al Bayt University, the CDD said.
They were taken to hospital and are in fair condition.
