Omar Jwaid appointed CEO of Jordan Industrial Estate Company

AMMAN — The Jordan Industrial Estate Company (JIEC) has decided to appoint Omar Jwaid as chief executive officer to succeed Jalal Dabai as of October 1, until the company appoints a new CEO, a JIEC statement said on Sunday.
Jwaid assumed several monitoring and administrative posts, mainly as chief executive of the King Abdullah II Industrial Estate and executive director of the industrial estates that contributed to developing JIEC performance and serving various industrial investments within JIEC.
The company has attracted 860 industrial firms with a total investment volume of some JD2.9 billion and provided more than 62,000 jobs.
