New tourist flights to be operated between Bucharest, Amman

AMMAN — New chartered tourist flights between Bucharest and Amman were announced on Friday.
The flights are organised by Romania's Christian Tour Company in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) and the Jordanian embassy in Romania, the JTB said in a statement on Saturday.
Jordanian Ambassador in Romania Salman Qudah said during the event that these new flights will have a “big impact” in increasing the number of tourists coming to the Kingdom. The announcement event was attended by over 250 travel agents and journalists.
JTB Regional Marketing Director Ahmad Kreishan expressed the board's support for these flights and its readiness to provide all services necessary for their success.
The Director of the Christian Tour Company said that the company will operate flights in October and November of this year, and in April and May of next year, expecting to operate more flights later depending on market requirements.
He noted that Jordan has become an important tourist destination for Romanians.
