AMMAN — The Rangers have embarked on a comprehensive campaign against littering, according to the Public Security Department (PSD). The campaign will focus on littering from vehicles, waste left at public parks and tourist centres, and fires started during barbeques and picnics in parks, the PSD said in a statement.
Ranger patrols will be present in parks and on streets to catch violators, who will face “firm administrative and legal procedures”, the PSD added, calling on citizens and residents to avoid such practices and protect the environment.
