NCSCM conducts exercise in Aqaba to test health emergency preparedness

AMMAN — The National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) conducted an exercise in Aqaba to test the health emergency response plan at the border crossings on Wednesday.
Deputy Chairman of the NCSCM Brig. Gen. Hatem Zoubi said that the exercise aims at enhancing preparedness and tests the centre’s 2017 national plan to address epidemics, noting that the plan is subject to frequent checking and update to ensure integration among related bodies.
The exercise was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services, the National Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases Centre, the World Health Organisation and the International Organisation for Migration, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
