AMMAN — The National Charter Party's (NCP) women committees on Sunday held a dialogue session at the Circassian Charity Association that discussed Jordanian women's participation in political parties and its impact on development. During the session, which was attended by members of the association, Circassian women and the local community, Reem Badran, the party's first deputy secretary-general opened the discussion with an overview of the party and its principles, emphasising its commitment to support national issues, as well as humanitarian, economic and social causes, according to a NCP statement. The session addressed the key challenges to the political, economic and social empowerment of women and families. These challenges, identified through the party's field visits, will be reflected in the party's forthcoming programme which has been designed to be responsive to existing lived and political realities.
