AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiative Naua, which was established in partnership with the private sector, on Wednesday signed a partnership agreement with the Princess Alia Foundation, aiming at expanding charity and community services.
The agreement also aims at highlighting the foundation’s projects and programmes through listing them on the Naua e-platform, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
HRH Princess Alia, head of the Princess Alia Foundation, and
Naua CEO Ahmad Zu’bi signed the agreement on the presence of CPF CEO Tamam Mango.
Under the agreement, the foundation will be empowered to direct support to local societies through a clear action plan with Naua, which, in return, will follow up on work progress, conduct reports on the achieved impact and publishing them on the platform, according to Petra.
A big number of individuals and companies will be given a chance to get acquainted with the foundation’s initiatives to enable them to contribute to supporting its programmes through donation and volunteerism.
Following the signing ceremony, Princess Alia expressed her happiness at signing the agreement and cooperating with Naua, voicing appreciation for Naua’s efforts in delivering support to the needy through the platform.
For his part, Zu’bi highlighted the importance of this partnership, describing the foundation as an institution with “a high level of credibility and has positive social impact”.
He added that Naua will cooperate with the foundation through adding its top programmes on the platform, so as to help it receive support for these programmes.
According to Naua, the platform allows government, civil society, UN and private sector companies to register to post volunteering and engagement opportunities online for interested youth to apply. Applicants can register details, skills and interest, based on which they can find opportunities matching their interests.
