National Library, department of Palestinian affairs sign agreement

AMMAN — The National Library of Jordan (NLJ) and the Jordanian Department of Palestinian Affairs (JDPA) on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement to archive the JDPA files that are related to national events.
Director General of the NLJ Nidal Ayasrah and Director General of the JDPA Rafiq Kherfan signed the agreement, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the signing ceremony, Ayasrah expressed the NLJ’s readiness to provide the JDPA’s employees with training in the field of archiving, while Kherfan expressed thanks for the library’s efforts to preserve the endangered documents.
