National Charter Party elects heads of central, advisory boards

AMMAN —The National Charter Party on Saturday elected heads of its central and advisory boards, the partisan court and the political bureau.
Yaqoub Nasser Addin was elected as chairman of the central board, while Fayyd Qudah was elected as chairman of the partisan court, according to a statement from the party.
As for the advisory board, Mazen Al Qadi was elected as chairman, while Mohammad Al Momani was chosen as secretary-general.
Momani said that the party enjoys representation in 18 electoral districts in the Kingdom, adding that 40 per cent of the party’s founding members are young people, and 25 per cent are Jordanian women known for their leadership among their local communities.
He pointed out that the party, with its “conservative, moderate identity, and its reformist programmatic vision, is proud that it is a continuation of the march of the Jordanian national movement and its various charters that have their roots in history since 1921”.
