AMMAN — The Al Oun for Alzheimer’s Patients Care Association and SAWAAID App, a healthcare technology application, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide high-quality home healthcare for Alzheimer’s patients.

The MoU, signed on June 21, also includes provisions to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and provide information on support and assistance available to patients and their families.

Hamza Nouri, the president of Al Oun Association, and Saif Haddadin, the CEO of SAWAAID App, signed the agreement, according to a statement made available to The Jordan Times.

Under the MoU, SAWAAID will assist Alzheimer’s patients and their families at home in accessing multiple options of carefully selected home healthcare service providers within the SAWAAID network. They can request comprehensive and high-quality healthcare services to be delivered comfortably to their homes.

Nouri expressed his happiness with this partnership, which will enable the association to meet the needs of home healthcare that had previously posed a challenge for the association and the patients.

“This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to improving the lives of people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. SAWAAID’s comprehensive services will make it easier for our patients to access the care they need, in the comfort of their own homes. I am confident that this partnership will make a real difference in the lives of many people,” he said.

Haddadin said: “Through SAWAAID, we seek to change the concept of home healthcare by providing comprehensive services in one place, emphasising transparency and freedom of choice of service providers through modern technology.”

Al Oun for Alzheimer’s Patients Care Association is a non-profit association made up of a group of volunteers, professionals, medical doctors and individuals interested in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Founded in 2021, SAWAAID is an online platform specialised in providing home healthcare services.
