Ministry signs grant deals for water projects in Balqa, Madaba

AMMAN — The Water Ministry on Sunday signed grant agreements worth 14.5 million euros with the German Development Bank (KfW) to fund water developments and reduce wastewater in the country.
Water Minister Hazem Nasser said the projects will be implemented in Balqa and Madaba and will contribute to reducing water loss by 20 per cent, while also decreasing energy costs.
