Ministry, JTB discuss promoting international education opportunities

AMMAN — Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ahed Wahadneh on Sunday discussed with Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Director General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat the possibility of launching a promotional campaign for the higher education sector.

This approach comes in line with the memorandum of understanding signed between the ministry and the JTB, which stipulates launching a promotional campaign for education tourism in Jordan to promote the higher education sector and the programmes offered by Jordanian universities.

The two sides discussed holding official meetings with officials in different countries and setting up a group of exhibitions in these countries, according to a press release by the ministry, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
