AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi met on Thursday in Abu Dhabi with the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
The meeting underscored the deep-rooted Jordanian-Emirati relations and the strong ties between His Majesty King Abdullah and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Safadi highlighted the high level of cooperation and coordination between the two countries, noting that their aligned positions on regional security and stability serve as a model for joint relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation across various fields, particularly parliamentary affairs, to advance the interests of both nations and support key regional issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
