Lower House passes amendments to Integrity, Anti-Corruption Law

AMMAN — The Lower House on Monday passed the 2021 amendments to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law as referred from the Senate. Also on Monday, the House referred the proposed amendments to its bylaws to the Legal Committee and sent an inquiry to the Constitutional Court on the legality of MPs rejection of laws upon second reading, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The proposal also prohibits non-committee members from attending committee meetings when decisions are made.
