King visits armoured division

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited the King Abdullah II Third Armoured Division on Monday, where he was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben and the division's commander.

During the visit, the King inaugurated the new building of the Fifth Royal Tank Battalion and listened to a briefing on the duties of the division and its training programmes.

He also visited several field training locations and observed a number of military drills.
