King, Queen host Iftar for orphans

AMMAN — Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania hosted an Iftar on Wednesday at the Children’s Museum-Jordan for a group of orphans from the Ministry of Social Development institutions and beneficiaries of the Zakat Fund from around the governorates.
Their Majesties checked on the orphans and listened to their concerns. They also attended part of the entertainment activities held for the children ahead of Iftar, according to a Royal Court statement.
Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, His Majesty’s Adviser for Communication and Coordination Bisher Al Khasawneh, His Majesty’s Adviser for Policies and Media Kamal Al Nasser, Social Development Minister Basma Ishaqat and Zakat Fund Director General Abed Smeirat attended the Iftar.
