King posts tweet on Independence Day

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday took to Twitter on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 75th Independence Day. In a tweet in Arabic on his official account, the King said: “With patience and determination, fathers and forefathers achieved Jordan’s independence.

The Kingdom’s independence, God willing, will remain a symbol of glory and resilience of a homeland that has spared no effort in defending the just causes of its nation for 100 years of its glorious history. May God protect Jordan and its dear people,” according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
