King meets Japan emperor

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday met with Their Majesties Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan at Tokyo Imperial Palace.

At the meeting, attended by Her Majesty Queen Rania and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, King Abdullah lauded the deep-rooted friendship between Jordan’s Royal Hashemite Family and Japan’s Imperial Family, and the strong ties between the governments and peoples of the two countries, according to a Royal Court statement.

The meeting covered the advanced partnership between Jordan and Japan in various fields, in addition to recent regional and international developments.
